sabure1.jpg
The beloved Rakan with a rich flavor and crumbly texture.

Food is a part of the Buddhist discipline.

It teaches to, "Make food from the perspective of the person who will be eating"

"Spare no effort and ingenuity"

"The Three Minds are essential"

The Sable depicts themes of Rakan who prays earnestly with a severe expression,

Rakan with a kind and peaceful smile, Rakan who is training to reach enlightenment.

Made with more butter than standard cookies to create a rich flavor and crumbly texture.

This baked sweet, which is widely beloved by everyone from children to women, was developed as a souvenir of Okuyama Houkouji Temple.
